Modernization of the Delenii Gas Compression Station – Mureș County; Beneficiary: Romgaz

As part of its commitment to modernizing Romania’s energy infrastructure, SUTECH successfully completed the modernization of the Delenii Gas Compression Station, located in Mureș County. The project focused on replacing existing equipment with state-of-the-art technical solutions to increase the station’s efficiency and reliability.

Scope of work:

Replacement of the Waukesha 12VAT27GL engine (3150 BHP @ 1000 rpm) from Gas Compression Unit No. 3
Installation of a new Waukesha 12V275GL+ engine with ESM2 system, offering enhanced performance, improved energy efficiency, and more stable operation
Adaptation of the installation for integration of the new equipment, complete functional testing, and safe recommissioning

Key outcomes:

Optimized performance of the gas compression unit
Reduced operating and maintenance costs
Extended equipment lifespan and increased overall station reliability
